VOICELAB - Explore Georgian Polyphony
Summer Lab for Body & Voice, REFO Moabit
Join VoiceLAB Workshop to discover the voice and its unique qualities in woking on three-part polyphonic chant. Through the work with Georgian polyphony we will explore the natural potential of the voice and recognize its physical and tangible character. We will research together on the mutual dependence of the voice and the body, of sound and space, of silence and resonance.
A summer workshop with Aleksandra Kotecka & Tomasz Wierzbowski hosted by VoiceLAB in collaboration with pio_near and REFO Moabit. More details here

get ready - ein performatives Spiellabor
48h Neukölln, Performative Installation, Startbahn
With "get ready - a performative laboratory" pio_near transforms the church into a playground. Together with DJ Body Electric and communication designer Tina Thalmann they host the light - & sound installation Cube inside of Genezarethkirche. The immersive setting invites you to create your own light and soundspace by moving in space. Movement will happen in hidden corners and right in the centre of the spacious church while inviting audiences and guests to land in the space or to join the game. We transform the church into a club and generate light and sound in a cube. More details here

EN
Schräger Vögel is a dance piece based on voice work & guttural singing created by Danilo Andres in collaboration with 7 professional queer performers who use noise & guttural singing as a tool to challenge the authority of the norm. With Body and Voice the dancers perform personal mantras, prayer materials, guttural choral singing formations while working site -specific with the colossal dimensions of a church space and its possibilities for resonant sounds.

März 2020
zuzweit
One to One, Berlin
